DAKINE APEX PACK

Designed for the hardcore shutter or bike park rider, the Dakine Apex is a backpack/hydration pack built to last. Whether you're riding to the top, digging on trails or cruising the chairlift, the Apex is design to answer the call.

Features:
The Apex comes with a 100-ounce Flow lock reservoir, extra straps for gear and armor, and can Carry a full-face helmet. Organizer pockets will keep your keys from scratching your Blackberry, and the pack will stay snug with dual-density shoulder straps and a molded waist belt. The Apex has 1600 Cubic inches and weighs 3.1 pounds. For more information, log in the website: http://www.nsmb.com/gear/dakineapex_05_05.php

My Rating:
I found the Apex to have plenty of room for hauling tubes, energy bars, gloves, knee pads, first aid kit, and more. The Apex feels lighter than three pounds, and the waist belt does a good job of relieving pressure on the shoulders and back. The bite valve on the hydration pack worked properly and didn't leave us with a soggy jersey. This is a pretty cool backpack, plus being a quality hydration pack puts it at the head of its class.
